Community Established: The area was part of the former Town of Forest Lawn and annexed by Calgary in 1961.

The scheme was discovered, the developers disappeared, and the railway ties were used for firewood. Development proceeded sporadically from then on, with Albert Park developing between 1908 and 1950, and Radisson Heights developing shortly after annexation.
