The community is bounded by 194th Avenue SE to the north, Stoney Trail to the west, and 210th Avenue SE to the south. Legacy is connected to adjacent communities of Belmont and Walden, with quick access to major roadways including Stoney Trail and Macleod Trail.
Legacy draws its inspiration from golf course communities, with many homes backing onto a golf course, lake, or lush green space. The community features The Homestead (central gathering spot with coffee shop, meeting rooms, fitness centre, and boardroom), The Heritage (13,000 sq ft amenity centre with a large indoor playground, sand volleyball court, patio, event space, and multi-purpose gym), and The Arbor (park with bandstand, sports courts, skateboard and scootering area, and natural playground). Legacy also has a waterfall that cascades into a fishing pond.
The Legacy Homeowners Association offers six world-class amenity spaces included in residents' annual fees.
