Nonetheless, homeowners are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner. Bowness is not especially well-suited for those who like to travel by walking because carrying out daily needs is sometimes difficult without a car. However, this part of the city is fairly cycling-friendly. Services The closest supermarket in Bowness is usually only a reasonably short stroll away. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. In terms of education, families will appreciate that wherever their property is located in Bowness, schools and daycares are close by. Character People who prefer a relaxed ambience will enjoy Bowness. Most areas in this part of Calgary are very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.
