Signal Hill business review I went for a new client visit and while taking X-rays I repeatedly asked are you sure all these are covered on my insurance. (New area of town and thought I’d get a dentist in the area) They said it’s ok we did the estimate to the insurance it came back ok. Great! - no not at all... A MONTH later they called me saying there is a balance $33.00 When I asked how is that possible you said the day I was getting my X-rays done it’s covered. Well she said the estimate came back they only covered 2 X-rays and we did 4 on each side, I said the dental assistant was new and was messing up on the bite wing I had to bite on are you sure this isn’t an error? I explained how I had asked many times if they are all covered! But she just continued to say I should have asked “how many X-rays are taken in a new patient exam question !!!! Are you kidding me ??? and then said it’s my responsibility to ask those questions. How would I even know that ? Maybe tell me this when I book the appt? Or be part of the new patient paper work? So I told her I did ask and I was told it was covered. I said I’m not paying this. This is not my fault. They then proceeded to take the money off my credit card 2 weeks later without contacting me to ask if they can. I called and asked why they took it without calling me and they said I signed an agreement that they can take money off my card without my consent. I will not be going back there! They took no responsibility in the mistake they made and the customer service was horrible as she wouldn’t even listen to me and was continually taking over my questions and explanations. Will not go back there!
