Mayfair is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. Established in 1957, the neighbourhood is bounded to the north by the Calgary Golf & Country Club and the community of Bel-Aire, to the east by Elbow Drive, to the south by Glenmore Trail and to the west by the Glenmore Reservoir. Said to be Calgary’s “best-kept secret”, Mayfair is a family-friendly community that over 900 Calgarians call home, from young families to seniors. For families with school-aged children, Mayfair is also close to numerous private and public schools; the community also offers close proximity to many major destinations, sites, and amenities including Chinook Mall, Britannia Shopping Centre, Heritage Park, and Rocky View Hospital. There are a variety of outdoor activities available around Glenmore Reservoir, as well as easy access to The Calgary Golf and Country Club, Earl Grey Golf Course. With breathtaking views across the reservoir through to the rocky mountains, Mayfair has it all.
