Sept 26-27: Marlborough to McKnight-Westwinds closure Affected routes: Blue Line Affected stations: Marlborough, Rundle, Whitehorn, McKnight-Westwinds Affected service hours: Saturday, Sept 26 (all day) Sunday, Sept 27 (all day) What to expect: The Blue Line will be closed between Marlborough and McKnight-Westwinds stations starting on Saturday, September 26, until the early hours of Monday, September 28. Blue Line trains coming from the west and downtown will terminate at Marlborough Station, and trains coming down from Saddletowne will terminate at McKnight-Westwinds Station. Shuttle buses will replace train service between these stations. Full CTrain service is scheduled to be back up and running again by start of service on Monday, September 28. Why are we doing this? This weekend’s projects include: Electrical work, including line insulator and impedance bond replacement, Lighting maintenance along the right-of-way, Repairs and replacements for crossings at Whitehorn and 20 Ave NE Signals, security, and communication equipment replacement and maintenance, and other projects, as time allows.
