At 25.5 hectares (63 acres), it’s the largest freshwater lake within Calgary city limits. We are extremely close, says Drew. It is a big community, but when you’re there, it feels like a small town, because you always seem to run into someone you know, he adds. Our street has a Facebook group that everyone chats on, we have block parties, people arrange to meet at the lake, or do a walking night.
