Most Highwood homes in this neighbourhood were built in the 1950s, during the post-World War II boom but over the years many have been renovated and some even torn down to make room for new-builds and well as townhomes and condos. Buyers can expect to pay a bit less for a single-family home in this area. In 2017, average home prices were just below $568,000. While this price is on par for homes in the northwest quadrant, it’s about 10% less than the average house price of homes in Calgarys core.
