Evergreen is a good part of Calgary for getting around by car. Evergreen is not very transit friendly. Residents are served by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Evergreen is not very suitable for walking because running common errands is impractical on foot. Despite the fact that it is a flat ride to most locations, this area is also not very conducive to biking as. Getting to the nearest grocery store on foot is possible for some, but not all, house buyers in Evergreen. There are also a few opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. With respect to education, it is a rather short walk to get to primary schools from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Evergreen. This neighbourhood is wonderful for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as the streets are very peaceful. Finally, public green spaces are very well-spread out and there are around 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in, resulting in them being easy to get to from many locations within Evergreen.
