It's a fact that wasn't lost on Creation Communities, a developer and homebuilder with a knack for identifying small, well-located towns that offer a connected, vibrant and affordable lifestyle. "Crossfield is really safe. It's a nice town to raise your kids in," said Simret Rai, sales manager for both Creation Communities Inc. and Homes by Creation, the company's builder arm. "The cost of living is low, yet it is close to major highways. CrossIron Mills is 10 minutes away and it is a five-minute drive to the Superstore in Airdrie. If you live in Calgary, sometimes it can take 20 minutes to get to the grocery store." Creation Communities currently has projects on the go in several Alberta communities – including Springbank, Innisfail and Leduc – and another is about to launch: Hawks Landing in Crossfield.
