We seriously looked at moving to Cochrane (from Calgary) earlier this year. Opted not to because: Windy AF Little to do in town Not as much biking/hiking as we were hoping (honestly, Fish Creek in Calgary is better) Commute to Calgary kind of sucks We went numerous times at different times of the day and yet always encountered a bunch of traffic Medical services are lacking And real estate isn't even that much lower any more...
