Located on the southern edge of Calgary, Chaparral is a lively community that is known for its large 32-acre man-made lake and its 21-acre park. Chaparral also provides its residents with a recreation centre and facilities for various outdoor and indoor activities. With its borders being Macleod Trail to the west, and Stoney Trail to the south, you have easy access to get in and out of the community, and can make daily commutes trouble-free. There is a multitude of different stores, shops, wellness centres, playgrounds, parks, restaurants and other local businesses in and around the community, so there is always something to do not far from home. Fish Creek Park and Blue Devil Golf Course are also right next door to Chaparral and can provide some of Calgary's most beautiful views. There are a number of schooling options in and around the community of Chaparral, including Chaparral School, Saint Sebastian Elementary School, Midsun School and Centennial High School to name a few.
