Braeside Community Overview Braeside is a residential neighborhood in the south-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located north of Anderson Drive, south of Southland Drive, west of 14th Street SW and east of 24th Street SW. There are two shopping complexes in the community, both strip malls. The larger complex located on Southland Drive is home to a Shoppers Drug Mart and a string of smaller retail and dining outlets. The other facility nestled in the corner of 24th Street and Anderson Road is home to a Pizza Hut restaurant, a Tim Horton's, a KFC, a Subway sandwich shop, and several smaller retail and medical outlets, as well as a community police station. A number of convenience stores are also located in the neighbourhood. The majority of land use is residential, however. Braeside is home to Braeside Elementary.
