This part of the city is quiet, as the streets tend to be quite peaceful. Finally, although the neighbourhood is not home to any public green spaces, parks are well-spread out in nearby neighbourhoods, which results in them being easy to access from most locations within the neighbourhood. Transportation Getting around by car is straightforward in this part of the city. Finding a parking spot is quite easy. On the other hand, the transit network in this part of the city is not very convenient. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in this area. Walking is not very practical for residents in Alpine Park because most daily needs are challenging to meet without a car. Housing Single detached homes and row houses are the main housing type in Alpine Park. This part of the city offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 90% of the properties in the neighbourhood while the rest are rented. Most homes in this neighbourhood were built following the year 2000, during its largest building boom. Services Alpine Park does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, daycares are not plentiful and thus tend to require a very long trip to get to. When it comes to food, property owners in this part of Calgary almost always have to use a car to buy their groceries.
