The Market at Quarry Park opened in 2008, new homes opened in 2010, and Imperial Oil opened its 20-acre campus in 2012. The community was built with innovative flood mitigation strategies that kept it completely dry during the 2013 Bow River flood, despite being in an evacuation zone.
