"After dabbling a bit in what was becoming a very hot market I decided it was time to get serious in consulting area specialists and choosing a partner in buying my new home. I knew that I would need someone especially experienced and knowledgeable in the West Side of the city so I met with Anne over a coffee to ‘interview’ her and see if I thought she would be the right match for me. In short, it took 5 minutes and I knew she was. I knew what I wanted in a home, I knew where I wanted it to be, I knew that it would be tough and I knew I would have to find a realtor who was patient and tenacious at the same time. Anne was available to me anytime I called – even at short notice in the evenings AFTER a long day of unsuccessful booked appointments. Anne really took the time to listen to me and search out houses that met my long list of criteria. More than just finding and showing houses to me, Anne championed my bids which at the time saw me competing with up to 12 other offers and kept my spirits high. I lost in 2 bid processes which turned out to be a blessing but Anne never lost momentum in searching out the perfect home for me. In the end, Anne and I found a house that was everything on my wish list even in the crazy Calgary market. She guided me through putting together a competitive offer and celebrated with me when finally we beat out the other 4 bidders and I had my home. This was a very scary and exciting thing for me to do on my own and I felt comfortable and confident with Anne walking me through the process.
