Welcome to Madeleine d’Houet School. Madeleine d’Houet School is a Catholic french immersion junior high school (grades 7 to 9) serving the needs of the northwest quadrant of Calgary. Our staff continually strive to be the best for the students that we serve in a french speaking learning environment. We serve both early immersion and late immersion students and welcome new registrations daily. At our school, it is our mission to provide, to the best of our abilities, opportunities for an enriched bilingual, Catholic education, enabling individuals to achieve their full potential in order to contribute positively to today’s changing world. Madeleine d’Houet School shares the responsibility of learning and teaching with the parents and parish to nurture the whole child, physically, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and socially. It is a true privilege to work in such a unique learning environment. We are the only distinct junior high Catholic french immersion setting. As such, we are fortunate to focus on french language learning and to support and cultivate the french culture throughout the school.
