Dr. Dana Decker began her journey to owning her own practice in Calgary by working, and locuming in many different aspects of the veterinary field, in the northern and southern hemispheres. Not only had her schooling, to gain her Doctorate Veterinary Medicine degree bring her to Perth, Australia to learn, it brought about her love of small and large animals. Her career started on horse farms in Indiana, and in equine reproduction. She then became apart of a great team at a cardiology clinic in Florida, she locumed at emergency hospitals here in Alberta and in primary care, in Florida, Colorado and Calgary. Over the years working in these many different atmospheres she has come to learn that every animal matters and that veterinary care can be trying and difficult on the pet and owner alike. It was then that she decided, one day she would open her own clinic to help as many small animals and people as she could.
