About Us West Springs School is committed to creating an exemplary environment for learning where students, parents and staff engage in a rigorous curriculum designed for today and the future. Environmental Stewardship LEED Building - West Springs is certified as a “LEED” building with silver status. This means that our school has met environmental standards for energy conservation provided through heating, electrical, and water management systems. We have motion sensors for lights, toilets, and ambient room heating. School Initiatives Regular collection of: Refundables Recycleables Composting Our School's Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation We are committed to acknowledging and supporting the implementation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission 94 Calls to Action specific to education.
