Dave was born and raised in Calgary and has been selling real estate for 36 years. Dave is the youngest (and best) of five children (the most spoiled according to his siblings). His Dad was a Lawyer in the oil industry, and his Mom had the toughest job-being a stay at home Mom. Dave graduated from Central Memorial High School, and then went to the University of Calgary where he studied economics. In 1989 his Uncle recruited him to join a family company-Dixon Real Estate. There he learned commercial, leasing and residential real estate, ultimately deciding that residential was his love. With Dave focusing on residential real estate, he went to Re/Max where he became a top producer. In 2001 with three other successful realtors he left to start Real Estate Calgary. Dave lives in the southwest with his wife Selina, corgi Dixon. Dave loves food, traveling to warm destinations, dogs of all types (but especially corgis), real estate, and cars, and believes there is nothing more important than family & good friends !
Real Estate Calgary was formed in 2001 as a boutique Real Estate company focusing on helping buyers and sellers navigate their largest financial decision (a purchase or a sale). Our focus is not to be the biggest or have the most listings, but to provide exceptional customer service and advice to our clients. The owners Ben & Dave were both born and raised in Calgary, and together have over 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and negotiating.
